Oodles Recruitment 2021 Job Description:

• Having a thorough understanding of the STLC, SDLC, testing process, and AGILE approach.

• Ability to give management with timely assignment progress information for assigned projects.

• Understanding and participation in the Test Plan (scope, types of testing, tools, estimation), Test Design, Regression Suite, and Defect Tracking.

• Client needs can be translated into system specifications and test plans.

• Bug tracking, bug reporting, and risk analysis are all actions that need to be done.

• Jira or any other defect tracking tool is a plus.

• Experience developing SQL queries and knowledge of various testing kinds.

• Database and system logs are used to screen and validate the application.

• Web and mobile application testing expertise.

• Good understanding of API testing with Postman/Swagger and Selenium automation testing with Java.

• Understanding different types of automation frameworks, such as hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, and behavior-driven.

• ISTQB is an example of a software testing certification.

• Appium is a tool for automating mobile testing.

• Performance testing experience using Jmeter and STB testing experience would also be beneficial.

• For UI testing, you need be familiar with GTmetrix.

Required skills:

• Excellent writing and communication abilities are necessary.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.

• Ability to swiftly detect and assess problems, develop alternatives, prioritise, and escalate as needed to resolve them.
